Oxy is seeking an experienced IT Service Specialist II to join the IT Digital Experience group in The Woodlands, Texas. The role focuses on advanced end-user support, incident resolution, and proactive collaboration with IT teams to implement new technologies while prioritizing customer satisfaction and security.

The successful candidate will leverage strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills to deliver reliable IT services, with awareness of emerging technologies

Qualifikationen

• Experience in IT support and technical troubleshooting.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in IT/CS/MIS or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle.

Aufgaben

• Provide advanced deskside and end-user technical support for hardware, OS, applications, peripherals, printing, and related workplace technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents and service requests with clear communication.
• Log, track, and manage incidents using IT service-management tools.
• Own technical issues through resolution or escalate appropriately.
• Install, configure, and maintain PCs, peripherals, software, and related IT infrastructure.
• Develop relationships with business customers to understand requirements and improve end-user experience.
• Collaborate with IT teams to deploy new technologies and services.
• Keep locations informed of planned changes and outages.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.
• Provide knowledge transfer and cross-training within the team.
• Participate in technology projects, testing, deployment, and post-deployment support.
