Job summary

Oxy is seeking an experienced IT Service Specialist II to join the IT Digital Experience group in The Woodlands, Texas. You will provide advanced deskside and end-user IT support across hardware, software, and workplace technologies, with a focus on delivering reliable IT services and enhancing the end-user experience.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork, with an openness to emerging AI technologies and automation to improve efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS (preferred).
• 5+ years of IT experience.
• Valid driver's license for company vehicle.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Troubleshooting across Windows, Office, IT infra, hardware, software, WAN/LAN & Wireless, printing, scanning, AV, computing.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced deskside and end-user technical support for hardware, OS, applications, peripherals, printing, and related workplace technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents and service requests with clear customer communication.
• Log and manage incidents using IT service-management tools.
• Own issues through resolution or escalate as needed.
• Install, configure, maintain, and support PCs, peripherals, software, printing devices, and IT equipment.
• Understand AI technologies and how they can improve IT support, automation, and end-user experience.
• Develop relationships with business customers to identify needs and improve the end-user experience.
