Job summary

Hatch is seeking an IT Service Desk Technician Intern to support Hatch employees from our Houston, TX office.

You will assist with hardware/software support, PC rebuilds, and MS Office application support, while providing help-desk assistance and phone support in a global, in-office oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an associate's degree in incomputer technology, information technology, computer science, or a relevant field
• Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

Hatch is seeking an IT Service Desk Technician Intern. Reporting to the Shared Services group, you will support offices globally working from our Houtson, TX office location.

Qualifications

As The Successful Candidate, You Will

• Provide IT support to Hatch employees including
  • Hardware support for desktop PC's
  • Software support for desktop PC's
  • Rebuilding and reconfiguration of PC's
  • Application support for MS Office Suite
  • Operate Help Desk and provide over the phone support

You Bring To The Role

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair all forms of PC related problems
• Well-developed communication both written and oral skills
• Any Microsoft Certification
• A+ Certification
• Any previous experience with Computer Support or Administration
• Customer related skills experience

• Perform assignments related to your sector
• Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects
• Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications
• Coordination with other technicians/engineers on projects
• Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed
