Hatch is seeking an Operations Planning and Simulation Analyst Intern to join our Infrastructure group at White River Junction, VT. You will support offices globally and assist with studying transportation networks, benchmarking rail capacity, and planning operations under the guidance of project managers and senior analysts.

Qualifications

Hatch is seeking an Operations Planning and Simulation Analyst Intern. Reporting to theInfrastructure group, you will support offices globally working from ourWhite River Junction, VT office location.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, computer science, data analytics, engineering, environmental science, physics, planning, policy, or a relevant field
  • Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

  • Work with industry experts as you learn about rail vehicles, signaling and operations
  • Assist Project Managers, Directors, and other Analysts to study and analyze transportation networks, benchmark rail system capacity, and plan operations
  • Create technical reports and deliver presentations that help decision-makers navigate multi-billion-dollar projects

You bring to the role:

  • A strong interest in transportation systems
  • Proficiency in office productivity software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous co-op or internship experience is an asset

Compensation:

Range: $25 – $30
