Job summary

ASU Preparatory Academy (ASU Prep) seeks a Service Desk Technician I, On-Site to provide first-line IT support to internal and external users, onsite and remotely as needed. You will help with software/hardware issues, guide users, and ensure timely resolutions.

The role requires an Associate Degree in CS or related field, knowledge of IT security, experience with service desks or ticketing, and a DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card. Remote support and ITSM familiarity are pluses.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CS or related field; bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience with hardware, software and systems support.
• Knowledge of IT security; FERPA/CIPA preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL; service desk or ticketing systems experience
• Remote support experience is preferred.
• Valid DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st level IT support via email, chat, Zoom, phone or in person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues; escalate when needed.
• Manage incident tickets with proper updates and closures.
• Maintain site hardware inventory and onsite campus support.
• Record customer and issue details in the incident tracking system.
