Job summary

Cowlitz Indian Tribe is seeking a Technical Services Specialist I to support the stable operation and daily troubleshooting of PC hardware/software, network, and telecommunications across Ilani operations.

The role requires creating and maintaining system documentation, working on project teams for hardware/software initiatives, and providing 24x7 support with after-hours coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field with 2 years of progressive IT experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 6 years of progressive IT experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to foster a supportive team environment.
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Supports the operation of the computer network including software/hardware linking systems across departments.
• Provides high-quality support to team members using network and desktop computers.
• Writes system documentation and standard operating procedures for installation, operation, and maintenance.
