Job summary

AV Staffing Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support IT Professional Services projects in the Tempe, AZ area. This role collaborates with Project Managers, engineers, contractors, sales teams, and customers to coordinate project schedules, resources, documentation, and activities from kickoff through completion.

The candidate will also coordinate smaller IT projects, ensuring services are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer expectations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in project coordination, project support, IT support, service delivery, scheduling, or a related role.
• IT industry experience preferred but not required.
• Transferable experience in service dispatch, event coordination, customer service, scheduling, or resource coordination will also be considered.
• Associate degree or higher in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, planning, time-management, customer-service, and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Project Management, IT, or Microsoft Office certifications are a plus but not required.
• Salary: $48,000 – $60,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with scheduling, resource coordination, project tracking, documentation, and closeout.
• Coordinate schedules for engineers, contractors, and other technical resources.
• Coordinate project kickoff meetings with internal teams and customers.
• Monitor project activity, timelines, and deliverables.
• Maintain project documentation, including schedules, time records, change requests, and closure documents.
• Maintain project information within PSA software.
• Coordinate subcontractor schedules and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Communicate project updates and escalate issues when necessary.
• Coordinate smaller projects from initiation through completion.
