Job summary

SouthState Bank is looking for an IT Resource Analyst to analyze and optimize IT resource allocation across projects, programs, and operations. This role partners with IT leadership, project managers, and business stakeholders to forecast demand and align capacity with business priorities.

The position emphasizes building dashboards, reports, and data-driven insights to drive efficient staffing and budget adherence while supporting continuous improvement in IT resource management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2-5 years of experience in IT Resource management, capacity planning, business analysis or related roles
• Strong Excel/Power BI (or similar) skills for reporting and data visualization; excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Collect, maintain, and analyze IT resource data including capacity, skills, and availability.
• Forecast staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.
• Develop dashboards and reports to provide visibility into resource allocation and workload balance.
• Collaborate with IT managers and project leaders to understand current and future resource demands.
• Monitor resource utilization, identify risks, and propose optimization opportunities.
