About the Role

Our client, a prominent recruitment consultancy serving the Western Cape region from its base near Paarl , is looking for a dedicated IT Recruitment Specialist to join their growing team on a contract basis. This role is perfect for an experienced recruiter passionate about the technology sector, focusing on identifying and placing skilled IT professionals. You will manage the entire recruitment process for diverse IT roles, build strong relationships with tech-focused clients, and develop robust candidate pipelines. This remote position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with innovative companies, contributing to the digital transformation within the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for various IT positions, including software developers, network engineers, system administrators, and cybersecurity analysts.
• Utilize effective sourcing strategies to identify and engage qualified IT professionals.
• Conduct thorough candidate screenings, including technical assessments and interviews.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for key IT skill sets.
• Develop and manage relationships with clients in the technology sector.
• Provide expert advice and market insights on IT talent acquisition.
• Negotiate offers and manage the onboarding process for successful candidates.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and IT recruitment trends.
• Ensure a high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Achieve agreed-upon recruitment targets and KPIs for the contract duration.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT recruitment, preferably in a recruitment agency or consultancy setting.
• Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and the tech job market.
• Proficiency in using recruitment tools, job boards, and social media for sourcing candidates.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with IT professionals and hiring managers.
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with the Western Cape's IT sector, particularly roles relevant to the Paarl area, is beneficial.
• A relevant degree in IT or Human Resources is a plus.
