About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking recruitment consultancy, is actively seeking an IT Recruitment Consultant to join their thriving practice. This exciting opportunity is based in Welkom, Free State , focusing on the niche area of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and business systems. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and placing IT professionals with expertise in systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and related business intelligence solutions. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, market knowledge, and exceptional relationship-building skills to connect top IT talent with leading organisations. As this role is fully remote, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere, while still contributing significantly to the company's success in the Welkom region and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to understand their specific IT staffing needs, particularly in ERP and business systems implementation and support.
• Source candidates with expertise in ERP modules, CRM systems, business intelligence tools, and related IT infrastructure.
• Conduct thorough candidate screenings, technical assessments, and competency-based interviews.
• Manage the full recruitment process, from initial contact and candidate engagement through to offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Develop and maintain a strong network of IT professionals specializing in ERP and business systems.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in the IT sector, particularly within business applications.
• Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) effectively to manage candidate data and recruitment workflows.
• Provide market intelligence and consultation to clients regarding IT talent availability and market trends.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT recruitment, with a proven track record in recruiting for ERP and business systems roles.
• Solid understanding of various ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and associated technologies.
• Excellent sourcing skills, including experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and professional networks.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Based anywhere in ZA, with the ability to connect with clients and candidates virtually.
