Job summary

Draper is seeking an IT Project Technician to provide top-tier hardware and desktop support in our Cambridge, MA offices. You will troubleshoot, repair, and install computer equipment, coordinate moves, and work with vendors to manage warranties and procure peripherals.

Strong ITIL knowledge and a customer-service mindset are essential in our fast-paced enterprise environment. You will develop documentation, maintain SOPs, and help plan hardware refreshes while liaising with information services

Qualifications

• High school diploma and IT certifications like CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional preferred, or degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant IT experience.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and corporate computing environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL standards and enterprise IT service management.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair computer equipment and peripherals.
• Coordinate procurement and installation of peripherals.
• Plan hardware refreshes and equipment procurement.
• Manage computer inventory and moves with stakeholders.
• Provide root cause analyses and remediate issues with teams.
• Maintain documentation and SOPs.
