Job summary

SMC is seeking an IT Project Manager in Noblesville, IN to partner with IT leaders, business teams, and vendors. You will plan, document, and implement IT activities that support business projects and strategic initiatives, while driving collaboration and accountability across project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of project management or business management experience.
• At least three years coordinating and/or supporting business processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage project strategies, tasks, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Lead development of project objectives and define project scope.
• Plan and schedule deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
• Develop consistent project management processes to ensure quality across projects.
• Establish and support best practices for deliverable tracking, risk assessment and mitigation, communications, and KPIs.
• Identify project risks and manage scope changes to keep projects on schedule and budget.
• Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders regarding project status.
• Escalate issues when appropriate and ensure priorities are understood.
• Conduct post-mortem reviews to identify lessons learned and improvements.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent projects.
• Provide leadership within project teams without formal supervisory authority.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Fulfill multiple project roles as required.
• Provide guidance to IT Department members.
