Job summary

Skywalk Global seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale IT initiatives in the health IT domain. The role focuses on implementing EHR/EMR systems, guiding the full lifecycle from planning to operations, and coordinating with multiple IT teams and vendors.

The candidate should have PMI PMP certification with 5+ years of active practice, strong EHR/EMR expertise, and a proven track record in stakeholder engagement and organizational change management.

Qualifications

• Must hold PMI PMP Certification with at least 5 years of active status.
• 7–9 years of relevant project management experience in IT projects.
• Proven experience implementing a new EHR/EMR system, especially transition from paper to electronic records.
• Experience leading the full EHR implementation lifecycle from planning to operations.
• Strong background in EHR, EMR, health informatics, and Health IT.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale IT projects within health IT and EHR domains.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, deliverables, and quality through completion.
• Coordinate with multiple IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Manage organizational change management (OCM) and stakeholder engagement.
• Apply PMI project management methodologies, governance, and reporting throughout the lifecycle.

Job description

• Active PMI PMP Certification for at least 5 years must provide a valid copy with submission.
• 7 9 years of relevant Project Management experience leading large-scale IT projects.
• Proven experience implementing a new EHR/EMR system , especially transitioning from paper-based charting to electronic records.
• Experience leading the full EHR implementation lifecycle, from planning and governance through implementation and transition to operations.
• Strong background in EHR, EMR, health informatics, and Health IT.
• Experience managing complex technical initiatives involving multiple IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, deliverables, and quality through completion.
• Experience with Organizational Change Management (OCM) and stakeholder/customer engagement.
• Strong knowledge of PMI project management methodologies, project planning, governance, reporting, and change management.
• Must currently reside in Pennsylvania (PA) and be available to work onsite in the Harrisburg office 2 days per week, with occasional travel to State Health Centers.
