Job summary

Info Origin Inc. in Harrisburg, PA, seeks a senior Project Manager to lead the EHR implementation for BCHS, BOI, and BCD. You will coordinate with clinical staff and IT teams to drive the project from planning to go-live while ensuring schedule, budget, and quality.

Candidates must have 7–9 years of PM experience and an active PMI PMP certification for at least 5 years; PA residency is required. This is a contract role with two days onsite per week in a hybrid arrangement.

The primary objective of this engagement is to serve as the IT Project Manager for the Bureau of Community Health Systems (BCHS), leading the implementation of an EHR for 59 SHCs and clinical staff in BCHS, the Bureau of Immunizations (BOI), and the Bureau of Communicable Diseases (BCD).

The Project Manager is a 'senior' level resource with specialized knowledge and experience in EHRs, health informatics, and health IT. The PM will have proven experience leading large-scale projects to successful implementation and experience with planning around organizational change management (OCM).

REQUIREMENTS:

• The successful candidate will have experience with the implementation of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system where the customer was employing a paper-based charting system.
• Possess Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification for a minimum of '5' years, MUST UPLOAD A VALID COPY OF PMP CERTIFICATION WITH CANDIDATE SUBMISSION.
• Must currently reside in PA. OUT OF STATE CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
• Participate with Program Office staff in off-site meetings (i.e., State Health Centers), if required/requested.
• Seven (7) to nine (9) of relevant Project Management experience proving they have/can perform the role effectively.
• Experience with organizational change management (OCM) with independent customers is preferred.
• Experience with EHR and/or EMR, health informatics, and health IT.
• Directs, administers, manages, and facilitates enhancement(s), re-engineering of a business process(es) for a developmental project.
• Ultimately responsible for the HHS DOH program implementation. The PM’s primary responsibility is to drive the entire effort from start to finish. The PM must ensure that the project is completed on schedule, within the defined budget and that the final product meets the business, technical, and established quality requirements.
• Familiar with the five (5) phases along with inputs/outputs identified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) that combine to turn a project idea into a working product. The PM will need to rely on their proven experience leading projects to a successful implementation, and their judgment, to plan and accomplish goals. Strong interpersonal skills are required when consulting with the program area and various IT teams to define requirements and to analyze and resolve problems, ensuring collaboration and agreement with recommended solutions.
