Job summary

The PENTA Building Group in Las Vegas is seeking an IT Project Manager to serve as the operational backbone of its IT department. You will own project scheduling, coordination, and status reporting across help desk, data/analytics, systems, and security initiatives, while coordinating procurement and vendor activities.

You will work cross-functionally with IT leadership and other business units, and you may travel periodically to regional locations to support projects and audits.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in project management or coordination in IT/technical setting.
• Experience managing project schedules, timelines, and cross-team coordination.
• Proficiency with PM platforms (Asana, Monday.com, MS Project, Smartsheet) and Microsoft Office/365, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT project schedules, timelines, and status tracking across help desk, systems, and security initiatives using PM tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, MS Project, or similar).
• Prepare executive-level reporting and presentations summarizing project status, budget health, and departmental initiatives.
• Track departmental KPIs and ticketing metrics to support leadership decision-making.
• Track project-level costs against approved budgets and flag variances; support, but do not own, budget planning.
• Assist with expense report processing and reconciliation for IT projects and initiatives as needed.
• Coordinate procurement activities, including quotes, purchase orders, and vendor/license inventories.
• Serve as a liaison between IT leadership and other business units (Finance, Procurement, Operations) on administrative and budgetary matters.
