Job summary

UIW seeks an IT Project Manager/Business Analyst to collaborate with cross-functional teams across domestic and international UIW sites. You will analyze requirements, manage project activities, and support technology process improvements under the Assistant Director of Global Technology Operations and Project Management.

You will use SQL to analyze data and develop end-user reports, while coordinating meetings, timelines and training materials for diverse stakeholders across university settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, IT, CS, Business or a related field.
• Minimum three years in business analysis and two years in complex project management.
• Experience presenting to audiences with varied technical levels.

IT Project Manager/Business Analyst

UIW Mission

Position Summary: The IT Project Manager/Business Analyst is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional and technical teams across domestic and international UIW sites to facilitate business analysis and management of project activities. Key responsibilities include managing project operations to support the successful implementation of technological processes and/or system improvements. The IT Project Manager/Business Analyst reports to the Assistant Director of Global Technology Operations and Project Management.

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or relevant degree.

Required Work Experience

• Three (3) years of professional experience in the field of business analysis. Note that complex internships will be considered.
• Two (2) years of professional complex project management experience facilitating business process reviews and documenting current processes, gaps, and desired future states. Note that complex internships will be considered.
• Two (2) years of experience developing and executing presentations for audiences with various technical levels within an organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Four (4) years of professional experience in the field of business analysis.
• Three (3) years experience facilitating business process reviews, documenting current processes, gaps, and desired future state.
• Three (3) years experience working in an educational/university environment.
• Three (3) experience working with Ellucian Banner Applications.
• Three (3) years of experience facilitating business process reviews and documenting outcomes.
• Three (3) years of experience using reporting tools such as Argos and Microsoft Power BI.
• Knowledge of higher education administrative areas and their function, such as the roles within the recruitment, admissions, registration, billing, and business/finance departments.
• Familiarity with higher education organizational structure, policies, and procedures.
• Business Analysis or Project Management certification.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Work Hours

Mon through Fri 8am to 5pm with extended hours as needed to meet departmental goals.

Physical Demands

• Ability to regularly move about main campus and local satellite campuses to provide customer services as needed throughout the day.
• Ability to regularly move about campus to actively engage faculty, staff, and potential/current students, as well as attend meetings on and off campus.
