Job summary

Ellaway Blues Consulting seeks an experienced IT Program Manager-SAP to lead medium- to large-scale digital transformation projects integrating security, data, and applications. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field; or 12+ years of proven project management experience.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure ecosystem and core services
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud private edition implementations/upgrades
• Expertise in business analysis, req. gathering, process design, test management
• Strong knowledge of project mgmt. frameworks(Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Planner or Project, Jira, or similar PM tools
• Experienced in vendor management/negotiations and procurement processes
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• SAP certification or hands-on experience in any SAP modules is a plus
• Well-versed with practical applications of AI to improve decision-making and ensuring robust follow-up mechanisms with team
• Experience leading international SAP implementations, coordinating geographically dispersed teams and navigating time-zone, cultural, regulatory, and localization considerations

Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager-SAP to lead medium- to large-scale digital transformation initiatives integrating security, data, and applications across the enterprise.

The role will also oversee software implementations, upgrades, major enhancements, and vendor selection activities, including RFIs and RFPs, in partnership with Procurement and Legal. It will act as a focal point to help manage SAP initiatives across multiple business units, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and pave path for continued operational excellence within PMO organization.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience leading large-scale, complex, and ambiguous initiatives that span multiple business areas and cross-functional teams. They must be able to bring diverse teams together around a common vision and strategy, establish clarity amid uncertainty, manage competing priorities, resolve conflicts, and navigate disruptions while maintaining momentum towards successful outcomes, strategic alignment and operational efficiency.

The role requires ERP leadership experience, preferably with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition. The candidate will drive standardized business analysis/requirement-gathering practices, clarity in decision-making, execution, and strengthen the PMO’s role as a unified, value-driven organization.
