Job summary

Dizario Search is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation in Detroit. You will work with business leaders, IT, and external partners to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

You will manage governance, budgets, risks, testing, data readiness, and cutover planning, coordinating across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, and Quality. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Admin, Engineering, PM, Supply Chain or related field, or 4 years SAP experience in lieu of degree.
• 2+ years of project management experience, including enterprise ERP implementations.
• 2+ years of SAP/ERP experience.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or ERP transformation projects.
• Ability to travel up to 50% based on location.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation activities from initiation through post-go-live support.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, milestones, and critical path activities.
• Establish project governance, communication plans, reporting structures, and escalation processes.
• Coordinate SAP functional and technical workstreams across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, and Quality.
• Partner with executive sponsors, business leaders, IT teams, functional teams, and external SAP implementation partners.
• Facilitate steering committee meetings and provide executive-level project updates.
• Manage project scope, change requests, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution.
• Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology and project management best practices.
• Oversee system integration testing, UAT, data readiness, and deployment planning.
• Coordinate cutover activities and go-live readiness assessments.
• Partner with change management teams on user training, communication, adoption, and organizational readiness.
• Lead post-go-live stabilization and transition to operational support teams.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation. This position will manage the local implementation from project initiation through requirements gathering, system implementation, testing, training, deployment, go-live, and post-production support.

The Project Manager will work closely with business leaders, functional teams, IT, and external implementation partners to ensure the SAP S/4HANA implementation is delivered within scope, budget, timeline, and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation activities from project initiation through post-go-live support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; or 4 years of SAP experience in lieu of a degree
• 2+ years of project management experience, including enterprise ERP implementations
• 2+ years of SAP/ERP experience
• Experience supporting or leading SAP S/4HANA implementations or ERP transformation projects
• Experience managing complex, multi-workstream projects
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including PMI, Agile, Hybrid, and/or Waterfall
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines, resources, risks, and vendor relationships
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to travel up to 50% based on location

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience, including enterprise ERP implementations
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Knowledge of SAP modules including FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, EWM, and/or TM
• Experience leading global or multi-site SAP implementations
• Familiarity with data migration, system integrations, testing strategies, cutover, and change management
