The Technical Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and delivery of IT projects. Projects include internal initiatives focused on operational stability and technical debt reduction, as well as application and platform deployments for portfolio companies.
As an individual contributor within a developing Project Management Office (PMO), you will manage three to four concurrent project workstreams, partnering with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver within scope, schedule, and budget.

Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, schedules, and resource requirements for three to four concurrent IT initiatives.
Drive projects from planning through delivery, including infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, application rollouts, and cross-functional business programs.
Monitor project health, identify risks and dependencies early, and escalade blockers with recommended solutions.
Manage scope and change control, ensuring changes are documented, evaluated, and approved before work proceeds.
Deliver corporate IT projects involving infrastructure, endpoints and user devices, cloud platforms, and identity and access management (IAM).
Coordinate cybersecurity projects with security teams and support AI engineering initiatives.
Manage customer-facing technology engagements with portfolio companies.
Provide project management support for enterprise programs, potentially including finance transformation initiatives.
Serve as the primary contact for project communications across business units.
Prepare status reports, meeting summaries, and project documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
Facilitate project kickoffs, steering updates, and retrospectives.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to executives, tailoring detail and messaging to the audience.
Coordinate with external vendors and technology partners, tracking deliverables against statements of work and identifying contractual risks.
Partner with procurement and legal teams to ensure vendor engagements align with organizational standards and risk tolerance.
Maintain accurate, audit-ready project records and documentation.
Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches based on project needs.
Help improve PMO templates, processes, and governance practices as the function develops.
Four to eight years of project management experience in an IT or technology-focused environment.
PMP certification or an equivalent credential, such as CAPM, PMI-ACP, or PRINCE2; candidates actively pursuing certification with a defined completion timeline will also be considered.
Demonstrated experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Working proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and Teams.
Experience coordinating external vendors and tracking deliverables against contractual obligations.
Exposure to one or more IT domains: cybersecurity, IAM, corporate infrastructure, endpoints and user devices, AWS or Azure cloud environments, application delivery, or data and analytics.
Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and business audiences.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, stay organized in complex environments, and coordinate across teams to keep initiatives moving.
Scrum Master certification, such as CSM or equivalent.
Practical experience using AI productivity tools, such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude, for documentation, reporting, meeting summaries, or analysis.
Exposure to IAM, cloud security, or endpoint protection tools in a project coordination or governance capacity.
Familiarity with ITIL, SAFe, or similar enterprise IT frameworks.
Experience supporting technology initiatives across multiple business entities or portfolio companies.
