Oregon Department of Corrections in Salem is seeking an experienced Information Systems Specialist 5 (ISS5) – Project Coordinator to lead and coordinate critical technology initiatives across the agency. You'll guide projects from concept through implementation, partnering with customers, stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs and align with agency goals.

This on-site role requires strong communication, proactive risk management, and adherence to SDLC

Qualificações

• Four (4) years of information systems experience in technical support.
• Associate’s degree in computer science or information technology, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology AND two (2) years of information systems experience in technical support.
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science may substitute for all of the above.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate multiple IT projects from initiation through implementation.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, resources, budgets, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and resolve issues to ensure successful outcomes.
• Partner with customers, stakeholders, and technical teams to identify business needs and deliver effective technology solutions.
• Ensure projects comply with SDLC standards and quality assurance practices.
• Support business analysis, process improvement initiatives, and technology innovation efforts.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, procedures, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
• Provide leadership, collaboration, and coordination across multiple project teams and priorities.
