We are seeking an organized and proactive IT Project Coordinator with 35 years of experience supporting technology initiatives from planning through implementation. The successful candidate will coordinate schedules, deliverables, risks, dependencies, communications, and governance activities while partnering with technical and business teams to keep projects moving forward. Strong organizational skills, communication abilities, and experience managing multiple priorities are essential for securing an interview.
35 years of experience in IT project coordination, project management, PMO, business analysis, or a related technology environment.
Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional technology teams and multiple concurrent priorities.
Experience managing project schedules, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, action items, and deliverables.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing status reports and executive updates.
Experience coordinating with third-party vendors and tracking vendor deliverables.
Strong organizational, analytical, time-management, and problem-solving capabilities.
Familiarity with SDLC, IT governance, change management, release management, and PMO practices.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, plus project or collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Confluence.
The successful candidate will provide hands-on coordination for enterprise technology initiatives, helping project managers and stakeholders maintain visibility into progress, risks, decisions, resources, and upcoming deliverables. You will serve as a central point of coordination between business teams, technical groups, vendors, and leadership, ensuring information is communicated effectively and project activities remain aligned with established objectives. The role will also support implementation, governance, release activities, and continuous improvement of project management practices.
Coordinate daily project activities and monitor assigned workstreams to keep deliverables aligned with established timelines.
Maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, status documentation, action-item trackers, and other project artifacts.
Track milestones, risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, resource constraints, and requested changes.
Organize project meetings by developing agendas, documenting discussions, recording decisions, and following up on outstanding actions.
Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, project managers, and leadership.
Monitor project health and proactively identify schedule concerns, resource challenges, dependencies, and emerging risks.
Prepare recurring project status reports and concise updates for management and executive stakeholders.
Assist project managers with resource planning, budget monitoring, procurement activities, vendor coordination, and deliverable tracking.
Support project intake, planning, requirements activities, implementation preparation, transition, and closeout processes.
Coordinate governance activities and help ensure initiatives follow established PMO standards, controls, and methodologies.
Support change management, stakeholder communications, training coordination, deployment activities, and organizational readiness.
Coordinate production releases and post-implementation follow-up when required.
Escalate significant project risks, issues, and schedule deviations promptly to the appropriate project leadership.
Collaborate with business and vendor support teams to help maintain smooth execution and ongoing operations across related technology initiatives.
Recommend improvements to project templates, reporting practices, coordination processes, and project management standards.
