OhioHealth is seeking an IT Program Manager to lead a team of project managers delivering a portfolio of cross‑functional IT initiatives across care sites. You will drive complex system implementations, digital transformations, infrastructure upgrades, and cybersecurity programs aligned to strategic goals.
The role demands strong leadership, stakeholder influence, and experience with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methods.

The IT Program Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of senior project managers and project managers to successfully deliver a portfolio of work across OhioHealth care sites. The portfolio of work includes complex, cross functional system implementations, digital transformations, infrastructure modernization, facility expansions, and cybersecurity programs which align to OhioHealth’s strategic goals. Working closely with care site operational leadership, clinical stakeholders, physicians, vendor partners, and IT leadership, the IT program manager is responsible for management, oversight, and delivery of the full portfolio of projects. This includes staffing allocation and assignment of portfolio work, management of individual contributor project managers, management of interdependencies among projects, and adherence to overall portfolio governance. The IT Program Manager contributes to the maturity of Solution Delivery organization by identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency through technology and process optimization. The IT Program Manager hires, mentors and coaches project management staff and provides opportunities for expanded responsibilities to enhance career growth. This position requires exceptional leadership, verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of the healthcare industry and the ability to influence without direct authority across a large, matrixed organization. *This is a Remote position in Ohio.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
10+ years of progressive experience managing complex IT programs or portfolios.
PMP certification preferred.
Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
Familiarity with IT governance, architecture, and cybersecurity frameworks.
