Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an IT Program Manager to lead a team of project managers delivering a portfolio of cross‑functional IT initiatives across care sites. You will drive complex system implementations, digital transformations, infrastructure upgrades, and cybersecurity programs aligned to strategic goals.

The role demands strong leadership, stakeholder influence, and experience with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methods.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
10+ years of progressive experience managing complex IT programs or portfolios.
PMP certification preferred.
Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
Familiarity with IT governance, architecture, and cybersecurity frameworks.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of project managers to deliver a portfolio of projects.
Ensure artifacts cover scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
Guide the team through change, ambiguity, and competing priorities.
Align IT PM with vendor PM and operational leadership for enterprise-wide initiatives.
Manage resourcing to support portfolio delivery.
Interview, hire, onboard project managers.
Coach, mentor, and serve as the escalation point for project managers.
Develop governance and efficient decision-making processes.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business leaders to modernize platforms and enable AI.
