Job summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a skilled production control supervisor to lead a multi-platform, 24x7 data center operations team. You will oversee scheduling, monitoring, and problem resolution of production applications to ensure timely processing and SLA compliance.

This role emphasizes technical leadership, cross-team collaboration, and adherence to SDLC standards while maintaining high availability across US-based platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• Five years in a technology production control operations role.
• Strong knowledge of mainframe z/OS and scheduling software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and lead a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work 24x7 shifts, including holidays.
• Experience in risk and production management.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of the functional group and provide technical leadership.
• Monitor and manage complex batch scheduling and define job calendars.
• Collaborate with apps and support staff to resolve errors.
• Develop and maintain operational docs and procedures.
• Own unresolved issues to achieve continuous service.
• Ensure SLA-based service delivery and coordinate with partners.
• Lead process improvements following SDLC.
• Handle additional responsibilities as requested.
