Job summary

PacifiCorp seeks a results-driven supervisor to manage day-to-day operations of a transmission and distribution territory. You will coach staff, manage schedules, and drive incident response for outages while aligning with corporate goals.

The role requires five years in the utility power delivery field, strong leadership, and the ability to interface across departments. Onsite Portland base with competitive benefits and a discretionary bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years in utility power delivery, electrical journeyman craft experience, or related field performing supervisory duties.
• Proven supervisory and leadership abilities, with coaching and development experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interface with leaders and departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations for Salt Lake City or Portland region system operations center.
• Supervise work activities related to system operation, outages, and notifications.
• Coordinate planning, switching, protection, and dispatching of distribution and transmission systems.
• Provide training, feedback, and cross-department collaboration.
• Ensure 24/7 availability as on-call supervisor on a weekly rotation.
