Job summary

The Planet Group seeks a Data Center Lead Scheduler to join our Mission Critical Data Center team. This role will own detailed schedules from planning through construction milestones, coordinating with client leads and site teams.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in a related field with 15 years of construction experience and strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project. Occasional travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field with extensive experience.
• 5+ years data center construction experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and client management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Certification with AACE, PMI or CMAA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and managing project/campus detailed schedules from initial planning through all construction phases, aligned with milestones and objectives.
• Build and update schedules with accurate logic, durations, and milestone dates.
• Review change orders and payment applications to ensure contract/schedule alignment.
• Monitor and report critical path priorities to client management.
• Collaborate with site teams and client leads.
• Prepare schedule updates, milestone reporting, and what-if analyses for the project team.
• Act as primary contact for data center clients, ensuring objectives are achieved.
• Lead junior staff and assist with their development.
• Travel to client site/office as required.
