Job summary

Toppan Merrill, a global technology leader in regulatory disclosure and communications, is seeking a Procurement Category Manager for Information Technology. This work-from-home role in Minnesota partners with IT, Finance, Legal, Security and business leaders to deliver value, optimize costs, and manage risk.

You will lead strategic sourcing, run RFIs/RFPs, negotiate contracts, oversee supplier performance, and align purchasing with budgets and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• 5+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement focusing on IT categories.
• Experience sourcing software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, cybersecurity, and IT services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing and category management strategies that align with short- and long-term business goals.
• Analyze category spend, market trends, supplier capabilities, and business requirements to identify sourcing opportunities and cost optimization initiatives.
• Lead competitive sourcing events, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, evaluations, negotiations, and supplier selection processes.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to IT leadership and business stakeholders on procurement strategies, contract terms, supplier management, and technology investments.
• Partner with IT, Finance, Legal, Information Security, and other stakeholders to align procurement activities with business priorities and compliance requirements.
