Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc. is seeking an IT/OT Engineer I to support integration, reliability, security, and daily operations of IT and OT systems across the organization.

You will partner with manufacturing to maintain 99.999 uptime for plant operations, diagnose issues quickly, and communicate updates to management while collaborating with IT, engineering, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS or related field.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• ITAR/NIST security experience is a plus.
• Experience as System/Network Administrator or similar role.
• What’s Up Gold experience is a plus.
• VMware virtualization experience is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure software and hardware as necessary.
• Provide asset management and inventory of devices using CMDB.
• Monitor performance and maintain systems per requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues and outages.
• Provide disaster recovery and high-availability solutions for 7x24x365 needs.
• Perform system upgrades to OS and hardware.
• Manage DNS, DHCP and Active Directory daily.
• Create internal technical documentation and IT policies.
• Provide end-user support at workstation level.
• Configure systems to meet GDPR, ITAR and NIST 800 requirements.
• After-hours support or project work as required.
