Invenergy in Chicago seeks a System Administrator to operate in a Windows-based environment, supporting IT and OT systems, including control center operations. This day shift role provides business-hours operational support, incident resolution, and cross-functional coordination.

You will serve as the final escalation point for Service Desk, manage incidents across sites, collaborate with server, network, security, and OT teams, and help maintain documentation and process improvements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field required.
• Three (3+) years of experience supporting enterprise IT environments, Service Desk operations, or systems administration functions.
• Strong experience with Microsoft environments including Microsoft 365, Windows server, and workstation operating systems.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the final escalation point for Service Desk incidents and support requests during normal business hours.
• Own and resolve complex IT and OT issues across control center, corporate, and remote site environments.
• Monitor and manage assigned tickets, ensuring timely resolution, documentation, and escalation when needed.
• Collaborate with server, network, security, application, and OT support teams to resolve incidents and service requests.
• Participate with IT change management processes, maintenance planning, and system improvement initiatives.
• Identify trends in support issues and recommend long-term solutions that improve reliability, user experience, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain support documentation, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledgebase articles for Service Desk and operations teams.
• Provide clear communication to users, stakeholders, and technical teams regarding incident status, resolution steps, and next actions.
