Job summary

Caesars Atlantic City is seeking a Technician Computer Operations for a full-time, on-site role in Atlantic City, NJ. You will respond to computer system support calls, monitor performance, and complete scheduled jobs. $20.00 per hour

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s or technical degree in computer science and has experience with iSeries and pSeries; NJ CER license is required. Caesars offers opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

Associate’s or technical degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
Prior experience in iSeries and pSeries platforms preferred.
NJ CER LICENSE REQUIRED

Responsibilities

Respond to computer system related support calls, handling or escalating in a timely manner
Monitor system performance and report issues as necessary
Complete all assigned shift tasks, including completion of scheduled jobs, documenting completion of tasks and completing turnover logs
Provide support for all systems, including software and hardware for all platforms, troubleshooting tasks and communicating to IT staff or service vendors
Maintain procedures and documentation for the equipment located in the data center
Locate and replace equipment malfunctions as required; complete appropriate paperwork for repair
Participate in the process to load code to the production environment
Ensure the computer room is maintained in a clean and orderly condition
Maintain the confidential nature of matters pertaining to company records, policies and customer lists
