Ocean Computer Group, a Lockstep Technology Group company, seeks a Mid-Level Help Desk Technician to provide on-site IT support for a client in Atlantic City, New Jersey. You will be a trusted technical resource, addressing hardware, software, account, and connectivity issues.

In this client-facing role, you will respond to tickets, troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, email, mobile devices, and business applications, and document resolutions clearly.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of help desk or IT support experience.
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, and common business apps.
• Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, email, and remote access.
• Ability to document steps clearly and communicate with users.

Responsibilities

• Respond to help desk tickets, calls, and messages with professionalism and urgency.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, email, and business applications.
• Diagnose account, access, and connectivity problems.
• Handle escalated issues independently when possible and engage senior staff when needed.
• Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and follow-up actions in the ticketing system.
• Support onboarding and offboarding tasks, including provisioning and device setup.
• Work with remote support tools and endpoint management platforms.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest knowledge base updates.
• Communicate clearly with users and set accurate expectations on resolution time.
