Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring an IT Operations Technician to support users, systems, and enterprise IT infrastructure in Apple Grove, WV. This frontline role ensures uptime, reliability, and safe operations across the plant floor.

You will implement and support software, hardware, and network devices, participate in IT projects, and rotate on-call shifts including evenings and weekends. Certifications AZ-900, MD-102, and AZ-104 are expected within the first year.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to employees via phone, email, chat, ticketing systems, and in-person support for onsite staff.
• Supporting remote locations with timely and effective IT assistance.
• Ordering, configuring, deploying, and maintaining IT equipment; managing returned, loaner, and surplus hardware.
• Assisting with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and licensing of software and applications.
• Troubleshooting and maintaining IT infrastructure including laptops, desktops, phones, printers, servers, conference room systems, access control, and network devices.
• Creating and supporting user accounts and group memberships.
• Procuring, configuring, distributing, and troubleshooting mobile devices.
• Participating in IT projects and performing additional duties as assigned.
• Working a rotational on-call schedule, including evenings and weekends as required.
• Upholding all safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards—safety is a top priority
• Must obtain AZ-900 Certification, MD-102, and AZ-104 Certification within the first year

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a top-tier manufacturing leader to hire an IT Operations Technician who thrives in hands-on, fast-paced environments. In this role, you’ll be the frontline support for enterprise-wide IT systems—ensuring employees stay connected, systems stay reliable, and operations run safely and efficiently.

Your work will directly support the technology backbone of a manufacturing organization where uptime, responsiveness, and safety truly matter.

What You’ll Do

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and related applications
• Hands-on experience assembling, maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting computer hardware and peripherals
• Experience supporting networking equipment, conference room A/V systems, and security systems (cameras, badge access)
• Familiarity with workstation imaging tools and MDM solutions such as Intune
• Experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment
• Prior helpdesk or customer support experience
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+

Pay Details

$30.00 to $34.00 per hour
