Job summary

Hanwha Convergence USA seeks an experienced IT Specialist to own day-to-day IT operations across our office and field sites. You will provide end-user support, manage devices, administer Microsoft 365, and oversee cybersecurity and the office network infrastructure.

Reporting to the IT leadership, you will support multiple business units, maintain runbooks and documentation, and ensure systems are reliable, secure, and compliant with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field required.
• 5+ years hands-on IT support/systems administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration.
• Experience with Windows devices deployment, patching, and endpoint security tools.
• Networking knowledge: firewalls, switches, VPN, DHCP/DNS, troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently as a one-person IT function.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary IT contact for office and field employees via in-person, phone, email, and Teams, managing all requests through a ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with laptops, desktops, peripherals, printers, and business applications.
• Provision, deploy, maintain, and retire laptops, using Windows Autopilot and Intune, and manage inventory.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding, accounts, email, licenses, devices, and access revocation.
• Support office VoIP, conference rooms, and meeting equipment; respond to after-hours issues as needed.
• Create and maintain user guides and IT support documentation.
• Administer Microsoft 365 environment (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune) and manage licenses.
• Automate routine tasks with PowerShell; manage security (spam/phishing) and MFA reviews.
• Maintain endpoint protection, patching, backups, and security controls; support NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC readiness.
