Job summary

SemiAnalysis is seeking an IT Specialist to own and support our core IT infrastructure, ensuring secure, scalable operations. You will manage devices, software systems, access controls, and internal file organization while delivering hands-on IT support across the firm.

As a hands-on professional, you will implement security processes, coordinate with vendors, and develop IT policies to drive operational efficiency for a growing, globally distributed team in the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of IT support or systems administration experience.
• Familiar with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Google Workspace.
• Understanding of MFA, password management, and endpoint security.
• Ability to troubleshoot across hardware, software, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage device procurement, configuration, shipping, tracking, maintenance, and lifecycle management for laptops and IT equipment.
• Support onboarding and offboarding, including account creation, provisioning, and secure deactivation.
• Administer internal software systems, SaaS licenses, user accounts, and access permissions.
• Maintain SharePoint environments, shared drives, and internal documentation repositories.
• Implement and maintain IT security processes including MFA and device security controls.
• Manage role-based access controls and provide day-to-day IT support for hardware and software.
• Coordinate with IT vendors and external support partners.
• Develop and maintain IT policies, SOPs, and asset trackers.
• Identify opportunities to automate and scale IT workflows.
