Job summary

Caring Network is seeking an IT Operations Coordinator to bridge internal teams and external providers from our Glen Ellyn office. You will manage MSP relationships, hardware lifecycle, cybersecurity initiatives, and licensing across platforms while supporting day-to-day operations.

The role requires up to 20% travel to Chicagoland clinics and collaboration with leadership to drive security, stability, and cost efficiency. Prior IT coordination experience and a Christian alignments are valued.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science related field or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of computer networking, hardware, software interfaces, security protocols, and hardware lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Primary daily MSP contact for user support and issue resolution.
• Coordinate monthly on-site MSP visits.
• Review MSP invoicing for accuracy and cost control.
• Ensure consistent service delivery aligned with organizational needs.
• Oversee hardware lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning.
• Ensure secure destruction of retired equipment with records.
• Maintain inventory of all hardware assets.
• Track asset usage and replacement planning.
• Administer cybersecurity training program.
• Monitor vulnerability testing and remediation follow-ups.
• Coordinate incident response with technology leader.
• Strengthen security practices and risk awareness.
• Coordinate projects to improve security, stability, and cost effectiveness.
• Manage project activities and timely execution.
• Administer software licensing across platforms (Microsoft 365, Adobe, Power BI, ChatGPT Team).
• Assist in optimizing systems, tools, and processes.
• Manage user systems access controls.
