Job summary

Canyon Equities is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our IT operations, drive service excellence, and build a scalable, service-focused IT organization across portfolio companies. You will manage a hands-on team, implement ITIL-based processes, and partner with HR and executives to align technology with business goals.

You will recruit, mentor, and develop staff, define SLAs and KPIs, and oversee security, backups, and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a high-performing IT team across multiple sites and entities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day IT operations across Canyon Equities and portfolio companies.
• Directly manage IT staff, set priorities and workloads.
• Coach and develop team members with regular reviews.
• Lead recruiting, onboarding, and career-path planning.
• Oversee IT service desk, SLAs, and KPI reporting.
• Maintain documentation: runbooks, SOPs, knowledge base.
• Escalate major incidents and coordinate resolutions.
• Standardize IT ops across portfolio companies.
• Manage asset lifecycle, procurement, and vendor relations.
• Contribute to IT operating budget and monitor spend.
• Communicate with business leaders and client stakeholders.
• Support scalable IT service delivery for onboarding new clients.
