Job summary

BrainWorks is seeking a Manager, IT Operations to lead daily IT operations, oversee infrastructure, end-user support, and vendor relationships. Reporting to the CIO, this role builds a high-performing IT team and aligns technology initiatives with business goals.

The position emphasizes operational excellence, resilience, and continuous improvement with visibility across the organization. 7+ years in IT leadership, strong Microsoft and networking knowledge, and audit/regulatory experience are

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive IT experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading enterprise IT operations, infrastructure, and support teams.
• Knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure, networking, systems administration, and enterprise environments.
• Experience managing vendors, MSP relationships, and third-party partners.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional technology projects from planning through implementation.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and operational risk.
• Excellent leadership and communication with executive leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily IT operations and oversee infrastructure, end-user support, and vendor management.
• Coach and develop a team of IT professionals and align priorities with business goals.
• Partner with CIO to execute technology initiatives and modernization projects.
• Drive operational excellence, stability, and user experience improvements.
• Support cybersecurity, business continuity, disaster recovery, and IT governance.
• Assist with budgeting, planning, and regulatory examinations and IT audits.
