Job summary

ITW is seeking an IT Operations Manager, North America, to lead day-to-day IT operations for 600+ employees across multiple facilities in the US. You will drive security, systems delivery, and infrastructure initiatives, partner with Corporate IT on enterprise strategy, and ensure compliance and efficiency in regional applications and hardware management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related field of study.
• 10+ years IT experience with multi-site infrastructure management.
• 3+ years as a manager with direct reports.
• 2+ years in vendor management for major IT third-party providers.
• Experience supporting ERP systems and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional IT infrastructure strategy aligned with enterprise goals.
• Manage regional IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance across plants.
• Oversee networks, data centers, cloud solutions, and other infrastructure components.
• Lead IAM practices: SSO, MFA, RBAC, and access audits.
• Coordinate with corporate IT and business leaders to meet operational needs.
• Drive cybersecurity and regulatory compliance across regional systems.
• Mentor teams, manage vendors, and oversee contracts and SLAs.
• Establish KPIs and regular reporting on system health and project progress.
