Moore County is seeking an IT Leader to join the IT Leadership team, guiding the planning and deployment of information systems across divisions. This role provides technology vision to improve cost efficiency, service delivery, and program development for the county.

The position reports to the IT Director, supervises IT staff, and participates in the Cyber Response Team/on-call rotation. Standard county hours apply with potential after-hours work and weekend coverage as needed.

Formación

• Comprehensive knowledge of technical terminology used in computer operations and of the various hardware, software, and accessory peripherals utilized in a networked system
• Comprehensive knowledge of budget and accounting processes, Microsoft Office applications and various operating systems and applications, and help desk operations
• Understanding of Enterprise resource planning (ERP), geographic information system (GIS), website creation, design and maintenance
• Understanding of Human Resource rules and regulations, mobile devices and mobile device management solutions, hosted telephone solutions, print management programs, audio visual solutions, and departmental service level agreements
• Ability to communicate effectively through speech and writing and to develop and maintain effective working relationships across the entire organization and with vendors
• Ability to work efficiently, prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects, and to prepare and maintain detailed procedures, documentation, and instructions

Responsabilidades

• Provide technology vision and leadership for IT initiatives within Moore County
• Manage assigned division(s) within the IT Department
• Assist with planning and implementing information systems
• Work with IT Director and Cyber Response Team; participate in on-call rotation
• Ensure compliance with county IT policies and service level agreements
