Napa County Information Technology Services (ITS) seeks a Deputy Chief Technology Officer to lead Infrastructure/Operations/Security. The role directs enterprise infrastructure, security controls, and strategic IT delivery for County departments and districts.

The position is hybrid, offering two telework days per week and opportunities to guide modernization, vendor management, and resource allocation in a public-sector environment.

Formación

• Six years of increasingly responsible information technology experience.
• Two years of management and administrative responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree desirable.
• Possession of a valid California driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Direct infrastructure standards, technology stacks, and reference architectures across departments.
• Direct hybrid/multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure), cloud governance and strategy.
• Direct planning and management of data center, network, and compute infrastructure for enterprise AI workloads.
• Oversee core identity systems (Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, MFA, Zero Trust).
• Serve as executive escalation point during major outages or ransomware events.
• Lead regular testing of business continuity procedures.
• Direct oversight of physical assets including data centers and cabling systems.
