Job summary

Complete Office of Wisconsin is seeking an IT Operations Administrator to oversee and regulate the technology infrastructure and processes of the IT department, in coordination with the IT Network/Infrastructure Technician.

You will manage daily IT operations, study the PICK database, and work with vendors to implement policies and improve efficiency, while ensuring compliance with parent company standards and GIS cooperative regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT or related field.
• Proven experience as IT Operations Administrator with system installation, configuration and analysis.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to interact with staff, management and customers.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks and cloud computing; PICK Basic is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily operations of the IT department and ensuring that systems and networks are running smoothly.
• Learn the database structure of the PICK system and work to develop and implement policies, procedures, processes and reports to improve IT operations and increase efficiency and productivity.
• Managing technology vendors and service providers to ensure that the organization's technological needs are met, including writing specifications and coordinating testing and communication of changes.
• Evaluating and implementing new technologies and systems that improve IT infrastructure and support the organization’s goals, while responding to customer needs.
• Maintaining an up-to-date IT policy framework in line with the parent company and industry regulations (GISP).
• Managing the IT budget and coordinating with the CFO to align expenses with financial goals.
• Anticipating hardware and OS replacements and communicating needs to the CFO.
• Assessing system performance and developing tools for improvement; managing period closings, purges and database integrity testing.
• Providing support and guidance to stakeholders via help desk as back up to the Network/Infrastructure Technician IT Operations Manager.
