Job summary

Hendrickson in Ohio is seeking IT support personnel to manage endpoints (laptops/desktops), network infrastructure, VOIP, and printer support across 7 U.S. and 2 international sites. You will install and configure computers, back up data, and assist with profile-specific software and email setups.

Qualifications

• Currently studying IT with a concentration in networking or infrastructure.
• Experience with currently supported Microsoft operating systems at both the desktop and server level.
• Basic understanding of network concepts.
• Knowledge of terminating and testing cables.
• Project-oriented mindset and ability to work independently.
• Strong customer-service orientation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and set up new computers, thin clients and users.
• Proper disposal of old equipment - reimaging and data backup/restorations.
• Install profile-specific items including email, network printers, and specialty software.
• Purchase IT equipment and supplies (laptops, desktops, panels, toner, etc.).
• Phone system support.
• Configure network equipment including switches and cabling.
• Support core security technologies including Anti-virus, DLP, patching, VPN.
• Manage objects within Active Directory.
• Provide general IT support and troubleshooting.
