Job summary

DV Trading in Chicago is seeking a tech-savvy IT Operations Intern to assist our team in delivering excellent end-user support and to learn IT operations, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

You will act as the first point of contact for IT requests, help troubleshoot hardware and software, assist with asset management and knowledge-base updates, and collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing IT-related degree with expected graduation Summer 2028.
• Interest in technology and IT systems.
• Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with a team.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for IT support, logging and prioritizing requests.
• Assist with troubleshooting hardware, desk setups, and application issues.
• Resolve basic technical problems or escalate to senior staff as needed.
• Help maintain records of IT support activities and contribute to the knowledge base.
• Assist in IT asset management, including inventory tracking.
