Job summary

RadNet seeks an IT Operations Field Specialist to support desktop deployment and ongoing IT functionality across sites. You will install, relocate, configure, and maintain PCs and software following established standards, with strong emphasis on Windows, macOS and mobile OS support.

You will collaborate with SMEs, manage inventory, track shipments, and liaise between IT and branch sites on projects, maintaining security and reliability throughout the environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related technical field and at least 2 years of related work experience.
• CompTIA A+ Certification preferred and beneficial for daily tasks.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle access as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff with installation, relocation, configuration and ongoing functionality of desktops, peripherals and software.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software across Windows, macOS and mobile OS environments.
• Maintain inventory levels and track shipments of IT equipment to end users.
• Serve as IT liaison between branches for projects and operational evolutions.
• Monitor and complete support tasks in the ticketing system with documented steps and resolutions.

When you join RadNet as an IT Operations Field Specialist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21 st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will

• Assist staff with the installation, relocation, configuration, and ongoing functionality of desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software within established standards and guidelines.
• Computer imaging and hardware troubleshooting of both laptop and desktop computers, along with a thorough understanding of Microsoft operating systems and accompanying software, are required.
• Maintaining inventory levels and facilitating/tracking shipments of IT equipment to end users.
• Act as liaison between IT and Branch Sites/Offices for various IT and Operational projects and evolutions.
• Monitor and complete all support and project-related tasks and activities. Enter, monitor, and complete all entries in the Support Desk tracking system, which includes stating the issues, listing all troubleshooting steps, providing a resolution, and marking the records as complete.
• Interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from other IT teams, such as Clinical Applications, IS Admins, and Infrastructure, to resolve user issues.
• Utilize industry best practices to maintain the appropriate level of LAN/WAN and computer systems security as established. Identifies and works with Cyber Team support staff to rectify any noted deficiencies.
• Basic troubleshooting abilities for MAC, iOS, and Android Operating Systems.
• Other duties and responsibilities as requested.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of an Associate’s degree in a related technical field, as well as a minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• CompTIA A+ Certification preferred
• CompTIA Network+ Certification preferred
• Must hold a current and valid driver's license in good standing
• Vehicle Access: if not owned, candidates must demonstrate the ability to secure transportation as needed

Pay Range: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
