Job summary

RadNet is seeking an IT Operations Field Specialist (temporary) to support desktop software and hardware, assist with imaging, and coordinate IT efforts across branch sites. The role emphasizes security, collaboration with SMEs, and end-user problem resolution.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventories, supporting cross-functional IT projects, and ensuring timely ticket updates. Requires an Associate’s degree in a technical field and 2+ years of related experience, with preferred CompTIA

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related technical field with at least 2 years of related work experience.
• CompTIA A+ Certification preferred.
• CompTIA Network+ Certification preferred.
• Must hold a current and valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Vehicle Access: ability to secure transportation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff with installation, relocation, configuration, and ongoing functionality of desktop computers, peripherals, and software.
• Troubleshoot computer imaging, hardware for laptops/desktops, and MS operating systems.
• Maintain inventory and track shipments of IT equipment to end users.
• Serve as liaison between IT and Branch Sites/Offices for IT projects and evolutions.
• Monitor and complete all support/project tasks; document issues, steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with SMEs from other IT teams to resolve user issues.
• Maintain LAN/WAN and computer systems security; coordinate with Cyber Team as needed.
• Provide basic troubleshooting for MAC, iOS, and Android OS.
• Perform other duties as requested; this is a temporary position.

When you join RadNet as an IT Operations Field Specialist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will:

• Assist staff with the installation, relocation, configuration, and ongoing functionality of desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software within established standards and guidelines.


• Computer imaging and hardware troubleshooting of both laptop and desktop computers, along with a thorough understanding of Microsoft operating systems and accompanying software, are required.


• Maintaining inventory levels and facilitating/tracking shipments of IT equipment to end users.


• Act as liaison between IT and Branch Sites/Offices for various IT and Operational projects and evolutions.


• Monitor and complete all support and project-related tasks and activities. Enter, monitor, and complete all entries in the Support Desk tracking system, which includes stating the issues, listing all troubleshooting steps, providing a resolution, and marking the records as complete.


• Interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from other IT teams, such as Clinical Applications, IS Admins, and Infrastructure, to resolve user issues.


• Utilize industry best practices to maintain the appropriate level of LAN/WAN and computer systems security as established. Identifies and works with Cyber Team support staff to rectify any noted deficiencies.


• Basic troubleshooting abilities for MAC, iOS, and Android Operating Systems.


• Other duties and responsibilities as requested.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

• Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of an Associate’s degree in a related technical field, as well as a minimum of 2 years of related work experience.

• Must hold a current and valid driver's license in good standing


• Vehicle Access: if not owned, candidates must demonstrate the ability to secure transportation as needed

Pay Range: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
