Job summary

RadNet is seeking an IT Operations Field Specialist to support desktop computers, peripherals, and software across our imaging centers and branches. You will install, configure, and maintain equipment in accordance with established standards to ensure reliable technology for patient care.

The role emphasizes collaboration with SMEs, incident tracking, and security updates, with travel to branch offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related technical field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• CompTIA A+ Certification preferred.
• CompTIA Network+ Certification preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle access.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff with installation, relocation, configuration and ongoing functionality of desktop computers, peripherals and software.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on laptops and desktops, with emphasis on Microsoft OS and related applications.
• Maintain inventory levels and track shipments of IT equipment to end users.
• Act as liaison between IT and Branch Sites/Offices for IT and operational projects.
• Monitor and complete support and project tasks; document issues, steps, resolutions in the support desk system.
• Collaborate with SMEs from other IT teams to resolve user issues.
• Maintain LAN/WAN security in line with established guidelines and coordinate with Cyber Team as needed.
• Provide basic troubleshooting for MAC, iOS, and Android OS.

IT Operations Field Specialist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21 st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will

• Assist staff with the installation, relocation, configuration, and ongoing functionality of desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software within established standards and guidelines.
• Computer imaging and hardware troubleshooting of both laptop and desktop computers, along with a thorough understanding of Microsoft operating systems and accompanying software, are required.
• Maintaining inventory levels and facilitating/tracking shipments of IT equipment to end users.
• Act as liaison between IT and Branch Sites/Offices for various IT and Operational projects and evolutions.
• Monitor and complete all support and project-related tasks and activities. Enter, monitor, and complete all entries in the Support Desk tracking system, which includes stating the issues, listing all troubleshooting steps, providing a resolution, and marking the records as complete.
• Interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from other IT teams, such as Clinical Applications, IS Admins, and Infrastructure, to resolve user issues.
• Utilize industry best practices to maintain the appropriate level of LAN/WAN and computer systems security as established. Identifies and works with Cyber Team support staff to rectify any noted deficiencies.
• Basic troubleshooting abilities for MAC, iOS, and Android Operating Systems.
• Other duties and responsibilities as requested.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of an Associate’s degree in a related technical field, as well as a minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• CompTIA A+ Certification preferred
• CompTIA Network+ Certification preferred
• Must hold a current and valid driver's license in good standing
• Vehicle Access: if not owned, candidates must demonstrate the ability to secure transportation as needed

Pay Range: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
