Job summary

Baseten is seeking an NYC-based IT Support / Operations Engineer to scale our IT team. You will be the primary contact for day-to-day technical issues, supporting Mac and Windows fleets, provisioning accounts, and maintaining the office IT infrastructure in a hybrid, in-person setting.

This hands-on role blends hardware and software troubleshooting with automation, systems administration, and vendor coordination, with three days in the San Francisco office per week to keep AV and facilities

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT support and administration in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with Google Workspace, MDM Kandji, IdM/SSO (Okta), and video tools.
• MacOS administration at scale and Windows environments.
• Proven ability to automate IT workflows and improve processes.
• Excellent communication and organization in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Escalation point for day-to-day technical support across Mac and Windows.
• Manage user lifecycle: provisioning, deprovisioning, access management.
• Own onboarding for new employees: devices and accounts setup.
• Maintain and improve office IT infrastructure for reliability.
• Build knowledge base for self-serve support.
• Manage IT asset procurement and vendor relationships.
• Support new office builds and workplace IT planning.
• Identify opportunities to automate IT workflows.
• Adapt to evolving needs of a fast-growing company.
• Systems administration including admin access and cloud services.
