Job summary

Axiom Bank is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and virtualization, while managing M365, Entra ID, and Azure resources. The role includes security tooling, backup operations, and cross-location support.

You will maintain network infrastructure, respond to incidents, and contribute to policy documentation and SOPs. On-site Maitland, FL, with occasional travel, offers a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years in systems administration or infrastructure
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
• Working knowledge of Azure administration
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPN)
• Experience with backup, recovery, and virtualization platforms
• Ability to write clear technical documentation, procedures, and policies
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in a small team

Responsibilities

• Administer, patch, and maintain Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO)
• Manage virtualization infrastructure and VM lifecycle
• Own backup and recovery operations and retention
• Monitor performance, availability, and capacity; respond to incidents
• Manage endpoint configuration and compliance (Intune)
• Maintain asset inventory and configuration records
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
• Manage Entra ID and Azure resources; cost monitoring
• Configure security tooling (Defender, Purview, DLP) and licensing
• Support bank core system backups and related interfaces
• Provide IT policy documentation and SOPs
• Participate in after-hours/on-call rotation
• Travel to branch locations as needed
