Job summary

Blue Mantis is seeking an IT Operations Engineer in the Mt Laurel NJ area to support multiple enterprise customers. The role requires proficiency across server and cloud environments, networking expertise, and experience with virtualization.

The engineer will work onsite in a fast-paced, multi-site setting. Responsibilities include server and cloud administration, VMware virtualization, and using monitoring tools like SolarWinds and DataDog to ensure performance and reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
CCNA and CCNP ITIL or equivalent certifications preferred.
Experience in a multisite enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

Server Administration: Maintain Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
Cloud Operations: Manage AWS, Azure, and O365 workloads and containerization.
Virtualization: Administer VMware-based environments for performance and availability.
System Monitoring: Utilize SolarWinds and DataDog for network reliability.
Incident Management: Lead incident resolution with SLA adherence.
Security: Apply best practices for secure on-prem and cloud networking.
Documentation: Create detailed network topology maps and troubleshooting procedures.
