Job summary

SOUND Behavioral Health in Tukwila, WA seeks a Director of IT Operations to lead the technology environment, including networks, servers, cloud, and security. You will partner with organizational leaders to align IT with operations and service delivery.

The role oversees IT infrastructure, applications, security, vendors, and budget while guiding a team to ensure reliability, scalability, and continuity of critical systems for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent engineering degree preferred.
• 7+ years in IT with 5+ years in management is required.
• Experience building and managing multidisciplinary support teams and large enterprise projects.
• Experience with vendor selection, negotiations, and SOW management.
• Knowledge of IT governance, compliance, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the IT strategic roadmap.
• Align technology investments with organizational goals and growth plans.
• Oversee Networks, servers, storage, and cloud environments for reliability and performance.
• Lead cybersecurity operations, governance, and disaster recovery planning.
• Manage Help Desk, SLAs, and end-user support to ensure high satisfaction.
• Coordinate enterprise system support (EHR, HRIS, ERP, donors systems).
• Develop and manage the IT operating and capital budget.
